Timea moves into 2nd round in Doha

Timea (WTA 15) beat the American Bethanie Mattek-Sands (WTA 80) in the 1st round of the Qatar Total Open by the score of 6-7(7), 6-1 6-3 after a long battle (2 hours 46 min.).

Timea will face in the 2nd round the Kazakh Yulia Putinseva (WTA 56).
